Tuition, Financial Assistance, and Student Support
Investing in Every Child’s Future
At École Internationale Mixte GIOREG, we believe that every child deserves access to a quality education regardless of financial circumstances. Guided by Christian values of stewardship, compassion, and community partnership, our financial model balances educational accessibility with institutional sustainability.
Families contribute according to their means, while the school provides financial assistance and support services to ensure that economic hardship does not prevent a child from receiving an education.
Tuition and Enrollment Fees
Entrance Examination Fee
All students are required to complete an entrance assessment. The Entrance Examination Fee covers the administration of this diagnostic evaluation, which helps identify each student’s strengths and learning needs in reading, writing, and mathematics. The assessment is used for academic placement and support planning and is not intended to exclude students from admission..
Annual Registration Fee
An Annual Registration Fee is required upon enrollment and each academic year thereafter. This fee supports student record management, identification cards, administrative processing, and compliance with Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) requirements.
Standard Tuition
Tuition supports the daily operation of the school, including instructional services, educational resources, campus maintenance, technology infrastructure, and staff compensation. Standard tuition rates apply to all enrolled students.
Tuition Assistance and Scholarships
We recognize that many Haitian families face significant financial challenges. To ensure educational access for all qualified students, École Internationale Mixte GIOREG offers a Tuition Assistance Program for families experiencing demonstrated financial hardship.
Eligible students may receive partial or full tuition assistance based on financial need and available funding.
Financial Need Assessment
Scholarship eligibility may be determined through consideration of:
- • Household income and employment stability;
- • Single-parent or guardian-led households;
- • Families caring for orphaned or vulnerable children;
- • The number of school-aged children within the household; and
- • Other documented circumstances affecting the family’s ability to pay tuition.
Community Verification
Because formal income documentation is often unavailable, the school may use community-based verification methods, including:
- • Recommendations from pastors, community leaders, or local authorities; and
- • Home visits conducted by authorized school representatives.
Student and Family Responsibilities
Financial assistance is a partnership between the school and the family. Students receiving scholarships are expected to demonstrate commitment to their education and uphold the values of the school.
Student Expectations
Scholarship recipients are expected to:
- • Maintain regular school attendance;
- • Earn passing grades and complete assigned coursework;
- • Demonstrate respect, integrity, and responsible behavior; and
- • Follow all school rules and policies.
Failure to meet these expectations may result in scholarship review or withdrawal.
Family Partnership
Families receiving financial assistance remain active partners in their child’s education. Depending on the level of assistance received, parents or guardians may be asked to:
- • Participate in volunteer activities that support school operations;
- • Attend parent meetings and school events;
- • Maintain communication with school staff; and
- • Pay required Entrance Examination and Registration Fees.
Student Support Services
To create an equitable learning environment, École Internationale Mixte GIOREG provides essential support services to all students.
Daily Meals
All students receive breakfast and lunch during the school day, helping ensure proper nutrition and supporting academic success.
Academic Materials
Students receive basic educational supplies, including:
- • School uniform shirt;
- • Notebooks; and
- • Essential writing materials.
Library and Learning Resources
Students have access to:
- • The school’s physical library;
- • A locally hosted digital library;
- • Educational learning resources; and
- • Technology-assisted learning opportunities.
Our Commitment
École Internationale Mixte GIOREG is committed to making quality education accessible while maintaining the resources necessary to provide a safe, supportive, and academically rigorous learning environment.
