Our pedagogical framework is intentionally structured to address the significant challenges resulting from Haiti’s current crisis. Most parents cannot afford school fees, making education inaccessible for many families. To mitigate this barrier, we fully subsidize educational expenses for every student enrolled in our program.
In addition, classrooms in Haiti are frequently overcrowded, and children who are struggling or developmentally delayed often do not receive sufficient support. To counteract this, we enforce a strict class size limit of 20 students per instructor. By eliminating financial obstacles and maintaining small class sizes, our educators can provide intensive, individualized instruction and foster accelerated learning. This approach ensures that vulnerable children are not neglected within the educational system.

The program’s commitment to students will extend beyond traditional academics by providing an education for life that secures future opportunities. Acknowledging that higher education is not universally accessible, the initiative will integrate comprehensive vocational and professional training. Hands-on skills development, including sustainable trade initiatives such as baking and culinary arts, will equip students with tangible, marketable skills for immediate self-sufficiency.
In addition to practical expertise, the framework will incorporate foundational values and community education. Ultimately, the program will foster mutual respect, active cooperation, and personal responsibility, ensuring that graduates emerge as self-reliant leaders prepared to uplift their communities.
GNR Institution De La Grace ensures that all qualified students entering the program receive a comprehensive primary or secondary education, along with the essential resources needed for academic achievement. To remove barriers to learning, the program supplies each student with uniform shirts, necessary school materials, and daily breakfast and lunch. By meeting both nutritional and material needs alongside rigorous academic instruction, the program creates a structured, accessible pathway that facilitates successful transitions to higher education.
